Merrilee started selling real estate in 1998 in the Queen Charlotte Islands. From there, she moved to Port Hardy and then Nanaimo to work for Coast Realty Group.

Since that time, Merrilee has been in the top 2% of sales and the top-selling female in the company. She has won over 20 awards for being a top-listing Realtor with Coast.

Merrillee is married with two kids. She is heavily involved in the Nanaimo SPCA and animal rescue. Her hobbies include playing bridge, hiking, and she is a rock hound.
